It is a great pleasure for me to introduce the Jury of the Amadeus Competition, composed of distinguished musicians and professionals with extensive artistic, pedagogical, and professional experience.
We have sought to bring together a jury representing different backgrounds, experiences, and artistic perspectives, in the belief that such diversity can lead to an attentive, balanced, and respectful evaluation of each contestant’s individual artistic identity.
The quality of a competition inevitably depends also on the quality of the listening. For this reason, I consider it particularly important to be able to rely on colleagues who, alongside their international experience, share a serious, open-minded, and responsible approach towards young musicians and their work.
I sincerely thank all the members of the Jury for accepting our invitation and for contributing their expertise, experience, and musical sensitivity to the Amadeus Competition.
Alberto Nosè
President of the Jury
Each juror, at the end of each category, must fill a paper with the scores (in cents) of all candidates, from 80 to 100, according to the following ranking:
1st Prize Assoluto to the candidate/s with the highest score between 95 and 100/100
1st Prize to the candidate/s with a score between 95 and 99/100
2nd Prize to the candidate/s with a score between 90 and 94/100
3rd Premio to the candidate/s with a score between 85 and 89/100
Participation Diploma to the candidate/s with a score between 80 and 84/100
The arithmetic average will be then calculated considering all jury members' scores.
The score of each juror, at the voting stage, will be kept secret to the other jurors.
In case of controversial situations, the decision of the president of the jury is decisive.
Each juror's votes and the averages will be made public on this website at the end of the event.
FINAL ROUND: each juror will rank the six finalists by assigning them one and only one position from 1 to 6. The results will be determined by calculating the arithmetic average of the positions assigned by each jury member in ascending order. In the event that the average of the positions of two or more candidates is the same for the assignment of the first prize winner (who must obtain the majority of preferences and cannot be shared), the number of positions with the lowest value assigned to the concerned candidates will be taken into consideration on the basis of the harmonic average (that inherently gives more weight to smaller values). In the event of equality of the harmonic average, a second vote will be held among the concerned candidates.

SEMIFINAL ROUND: each member of the Jury will assign a preference to 6 candidates (YES/NO system). The majority of preferences from all jurors will select the 6 candidates who will be admitted to the Final Round.
